Tafseer of Imam W. Deen Mohammed

This course explores the commentary, philosophy, and (theological) insights of Imam W. Deen Mohammed, one of the most influential Muslim leaders and thinkers in American history. With a focus on his unique methodology, students will analyze his speeches, writings, and exegesis to uncover how he bridged the message of the Qur’an with realities faced by humanity today.

The course emphasizes the Imam’s approach to building moral consciousness, social responsibility, and intellectual growth through language that resonates with both the Qur’anic worldview and the lived experiences of his community.
