About Us
The Institute of Qur'an Study and Leadership was founded in 2020 for the purpose of establishing a school for the development of authentic Muslim American Scholarship.Â
At the heart of our approach to the study of the religion is the the methodology and language of late Muslim Leader, Imam W. Deen Mohammed. Through this focus, students are taught to understand the Qur'an and Authentic Tradition of Mohammed the Prophet as timeless guidance and wisdom for the progress of all members of the human family.Â
Our Instructors
Rashad Abdul-Rahmaan
Rashad Abdul-Rahmaan is a student of the late Muslim American leader, Imam W. Deen Mohammed, and founder and director of The Institute of Qur'an Study and Leadership. He has also studied Usul-ud Deen, Comparative Religious Studies, and Philosophy and is pursuing studies in the sciences of Tajwid and Qira'aat.
Sahar Mahdi
Sahar Mahdi holds a B.S. in Biology and Nursing. She began her studies in Islamic Studies in 2010 with a special emphasis in grammar and Qur'an recitation. She is currently pursuing studies in Qira'aat, Advanced Grammar as well as completing her Master's Level coursework at EsUniCom, an institute that engages in advanced level study of the lanuage of Imam W. Deen Mohammed.Â
